Extreme intake of has been linked to birth defects and abnormalities. However, regular intake of retinal is not seen as dangerous. Pregnant women need to pay special so as to lessen the risk of food poisoning. To ensure this pregnant woman must reheat the ready-prepared meals thoroughly. Fruit and vegetables must be thoroughly washed by pregnant women so as to avoid bacteria to enter their body. Walking in early stages of pregnancy is recommended if otherwise not advises by the gynecologist. Weight lifting should be avoided. Junk foods need not be taken to keep obesity at bay. How to keep you email account secured

If you care your privacy Never send your password via email as no legitimate sites or services will ever ask you to send or forward them your passwords via email. It is always better to keep your password reminders at a secret hidden place visible to you alone. Never leave notes about your passwords in naked sight desktop. As recovery options help the users to secure their mail account from hijackers through recovery options one can restore access to one's email account even if you forgot your password.

Use mobile phone to protect your email account

Your mobile phone is the easiest, safest and quickest way for getting your email account protected. It is considered more secured than your recovery email address because your mobile phone is usually with you even while you travel.Providing a recovery phone number to Google won't result in more calls from telemarketers or email marketing agencies.

2-Step verification to keep your G-mail protected

Do not depend upon recovery email address alone as if bad guys manage to steal or hijack even your recovery email address then if you have not enabled 2-step verification on all your email ID's then it becomes a bit difficult to recover the hijacked email address. Google firstly uses your recovery email address to send you an email to reset your password if the event of yourself getting locked out, or challenged by an account hijacker. If you have enabled 2-step security even on your recovery email address then your recovery email remains protected. You can access your recovery email address with your password along with phone. If a bad guy or a key logger manages to steal or capture your password, then without your phone he/she can not get into your account. While signing with 2-Step Verification, the user needs to enter email password as usual. On receiving the verification code via SMS on phone the user has to enter the code. However if you need to make the process simple that you can use your trusted devices like smart phones, computers, laptops, ipods and tablets to remember the machine for a period of 30 days, if cookies are enabled on such devices or computers.

More security tips while signing in to G-mail

Just click the gear icon in the right upper corner of the browser to select the settings option. Out of many options available select the option "Always Use https" and save the option. Under signature check vacation responder. The user needs to check out if there is any unfamiliar content in the text box. If yes, remove it to click save changes.

Delete all the unwanted, suspicious or unnecessary email addresses from the contacts lists, "Reply to address" lists. Do not forget to save changes after every action taken. Also check mail from other accounts using POP3 to make sure that all listed addresses are recognized. It is always better to delete or remove any unwanted addresses.

Check to look for any email addresses listed as the owner of an email account listed here can not only read but also send mail on your behalf. Use the option delete to revoke an account's access.

Check out the filters which say "forward to" to ensure that you know the addresses listed. Check that these addresses are correct. Click edit or delete to the right of the filter to make any changes.

Check the filters which say "delete it" to make sure that the setting were made by you only. Click edit or delete to the right of the filter to make any changes.

Check to ensure that your mail is not being forwarded to unwanted addresses. If you find any unwanted forwarding addresses, immediately disable forwarding option to save the changes.

If you have enabled POP settings but you never access your mail with POP, then it is better to disable POP. Similarly if you have enabled IMAP settings but you never access your mail with IMAP, It will be better to disable IMAP access. IMAP is used by the users while accessing email on Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or Outlook.

Keep your device or laptop protected from malware by having a trusted antivirus with live update enabled along with daily scheduled run. I use Microsoft Security Centre which used to come free with genuine windows version. But now Microsoft support for earlier versions of Windows XP is being closed in April,2014. If you get notification from Google or otherwise come to know that your mail account is compromised, changes the passwords immediately after removing the malware, if any, detected during virus scan. Also ensure that your operating system is updated daily. Operating systems like Microsoft Security Essentials release updates to repair security vulnerabilities and it is therefore recommended to protect your device or computer by enabling your automatic update setting, and/or updating when you get a notification. Never ignore regular software updates. Some software like Adobe Flash, Adobe Reader, Java release regular updates but are not included in operating system updates. These updates are equally which include repairs for their security vulnerabilities. Regular update of your browser is also very important to get the latest security updates.

Check the version of your browser at http://whatbrowser.org which will tell about the current browser used by you.

It is important to always upgrade to the latest version of your web browser so that you get the latest security updates. The page will provide you information about current version or if new version is available. While Google Chrome automatically updates to the latest version, check out for latest versions of other browsers.

At the bottom of any Gmail Page one can find the details link to find out as to from which IP addresses your mail was accessed from along with their approximate locations. Check for any suspicious account activity with immediate reporting to Google.

If you find that large number of message are not visible in your mail account, you need to get alerted as your account might have been compromised at one point of time or other. Similarly if unfamiliar messages appear to have been sent from your mail account or you are receiving unnecessary password recovery emails from, your mail appears compromised.

How to report Phishing Mails to Google

Just sign in to Gmail to open the message (do not click any link in the message), you intend to report. Click the drop down menu in top right corner to select Report Phishing to report. If you notice strange messages even from your known contacts even them you need to be put on alert as it is quite possible that the account of your known contact might have been hijacked. Hijacker may send you mails in the guise of your friend may ask for your sensitive information. Never respond to such strange messages without getting verified through mobile or other means of verifiable contact. I have already discussed in detail about the steps as to How to Protect against Identity Theft which can also be a source of emanating phishing mails.

To keep yourself secured against possible sneaking by bad guys in your Google accounts including Gmail you need to sign in at www.google.com/settings/security to manage access under the Connected applications and sites. If you notice any unwanted application or service, just remove it by clicking Revoke Access.

CARE FOR YOU " ACNE"

CARE FOR YOU " ACNE"

No one factor causes acne. Acne happens when oil (sebaceous) glands are activated at puberty, stimulated by male hormones from the adrenal glands in both boys and girls. Oil is a natural substance which lubricates and protects the skin. Under certain circumstances, cells that are close to the surface block the openings of sebaceous glands and cause a buildup of oil underneath. This oil stimulates bacteria, which live in everyone's skin and generally cause no problems, to multiply and cause surrounding tissues to become inflamed.
If the inflammation is right near the surface, you get a pustule; if it's deeper, a pa pule (pimple); deeper still and it's a cyst. If the oil breaks though to the surface, the result is a "whitehead." If the oil becomes oxidized (that is, acted on by oxygen in the air), the oil changes from white to black, and the result is a "blackhead." Here care for you team providing you the best home solutions to solve problem acne.

1. Oil Cleansing in the Evening

I was apprehensive about smothering my face with oil, since my face has always been veritable oil slick one hour after I wash it. So it took a big dose of courage to throw out my face wash and tried this method for oil cleansing. I love it! It removes all traces of makeup and leaves my skin soft.
Most importantly, my face’s oil production is normalizing. This is because–in conjunction with the facial oil I’ll talk about–it does not need to overcompensate with oil production like it did when I cleansed with soap.

2. Honey Cleansing in the Morning

In the mornings, I wash my face with honey.  With slightly dampened fingers, I massage about 1/2 teaspoon of raw honey over my dry face and then rinse. The antibacterial properties of honey work to inhibit breakouts. Additionally, it removes excess oil but leaves skin moisturized. You can read more details on my post The Honey Cleansing Method.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar Toner for Acne

Mornings and evenings, I spray my face with a mixture of 2/3 alcohol free which hazel and 1/3 raw apple cider vinegar. The apple cider contains gentle exfoliating acids to calm acne and it balances the skin’s pH. It also allows my homemade facial oil to absorb quickly and evenly.

4. Homemade Acne Facial Oil

I use a twist on Crunchy Betty’s formula for facial oil. I fill a 1 oz. jar with jojoba oil then add a few drops of carrot seed oil. The jojoba oil dissolves excess sebum without over-drying the skin, and the carrot seed oil is extremely reparative and healing for the skin.
I just moisten my face with the toner, warm a few drops of this oil mixture between my fingertips and massage lightly onto my face. As a bonus, it feels like a quick aromatherapy treatment.

alt 5. Honey, Cinnamon and Nutmeg Spot Treatment

If you ever visit my house without giving me prior warning, you might just see me walking around with dots of gooey cinnamon on my zits. This is my normal routine ever since discovering that this mask makes a super effective spot treatment.
I mix raw honey with enough cinnamon to form a paste, add some freshly grated nutmeg, and store it in a small container in my bathroom. I’ll leave this spot treatment on for a couple of hours. If you want to use it as a full face mask, leave it on for only 10-15 minutes.

6. Baking Soda Exfoliant

Once a week, I mix up a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to my face, chest, and back. I leave it on for a few minutes before my bath or shower. It provides gentle chemical exfoliation to even skin tone, dry up breakouts, and eliminate blackheads. As a bonus, this effective treatment is simple and economical!
UPDATE: I no longer recommend this exfoliation because it can be too harsh for the skin due to the strong alkalinity of baking soda. You must be extremely careful in selecting exfoliants for the face and chest because the skin is so delicate. Sugar scrubs, salt scrubs, apricot-hull scrubs and the rest are all much to harsh and can lead to premature aging. Even enzyme peels and acid peels are usually too harsh for the skin and disrupt the acid mantle.

7. Acupuncture for Acne and Hormone Balance

altBefore starting the GAPS diet, my health was so poor that I rarely got periods. GAPS brought my cycle back, but also delivered intense PMS. I’m talking nausea, headaches, and doubling over in pain from cramps. Desperate for a solution, I gave acupuncture a try. After two months of weekly treatment, my periods are getting better and better.
So how does this relate to acne? During that time of the month, my skin usually erupts into landscape of deep, painful cystic acne. Since starting the acupuncture treatment, I’ve noticed a marked improvement in PMS breakouts. I am going to continue regular acupuncture to see if my periods will continue to improve, and I think it will continue to reduce my hormonal acne.
UPDATE: Imbalanced hormones were absolutely the main cause behind my acne and cystic acne. After many, many hours of research and self-experimentation, I have learned how to balance my hormones naturally through dietary, lifestyle and supplemental changes. My cystic acne and PMS is now a thing of the past! I share all the resources and instructions to end PMS in my new ebook Quit PMS: End Your Menstrual Misery.

8. Bonus! Enessa Clove Acne Control for Cystic Acne

Yes, so the title says 7 things. But I had to update this post with a #8 because I couldn’t believe I had forgotten this! I rely on Enessa Clove Acne Control to reduce cystic acne (the deep and painful hormonal acne). This is the only topical treatment I’ve found that drastically reduces the inflammation and redness of cysts overnight. I always have an extra bottle around because I cannot bear to run out of this magic potion.
Enessa Clove Acne Control is a secret blend of clove oil and other essential oils in a base of jojoba oil. Do not go out and by a bottle of clove essential oil and think it will do the same thing. As a matter of fact, putting straight clove oil on your skin will burn and damage the skin, because it is so strong. The Enessa product may be a bit pricey, but it works… so it is a worthwhile investment for me.

Why go the natural route for acne?

These homemade acne cures may seem crazy, but it is not as crazy as dousing one’s face in toxic, stripping, chemical-based products. Normalizing the skin’s oil production, using gentle spot treatments and exfoliation and (for the ladies) balancing period hormones through acupuncture means a safe and effective solution to acne.

CARE FOR YOU "ISPIRATION"

CARE FOR YOU " INSPIRATION "

The Simplest Ways To Inspire People And Change Their Life

Has anyone ever inspired you to change your life in a significant way that made you healthier, happier, or more fulfilled? If so, you understand the difference that positive inspiration can make in a person’s life. Inspiration is powerful, but it isn’t easy. Would you like to return the favor by making a positive difference in the life of your friends, family, or co-workers? If you want to be a positive influence capable of inspiring your loved ones to become better versions of themselves, please consider these 20 ways to inspire people around you.

1. Care.

If you can’t show a person that you genuinely care about them, do you think you will be able to inspire them? The answer is a resounding, “NO!” Show people you care in your words (“How are you today?”) and your actions (small acts of kindness go a long way).

2. Be enthusiastic.

The saying “enthusiasm is contagious” is common enough to be cliché, but it’s a cliché because it’s true. Reflect enthusiasm every day to the people you are in contact with and I’m willing to wager your genuine smiles, positive energy, and caring concern will be returned ten-fold.

3. Earn trust.

If a person you know and love tells you a secret, it stays between you and them. Trust takes a long time to build, but it can be destroyed overnight, so don’t take part in workplace gossip or unnecessary drama in your social networks so you can be a positive influence that people are unafraid to talk to.

4. If it’s not positive, don’t say it.

It’s easy to criticize people, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right thing to do. Think about it: how do you react if someone insults your intelligence, makes fun of your outfit, or criticizes your performance? Whether the criticism is justified or not, I bet you get upset. No one likes to be criticized, so if you don’t have anything positive to say, don’t say it at all.

5. Build people up.

Small compliments have a way of brightening any day, irregardless of the dark shadows that may be overhead. Don’t believe me? Find someone in your office wearing a frown, tell them how cute (or handsome) they look today, and watch a bright smile take over their face. If your compliment doesn’t make their day, I’ll buy you a beer.

6. Stand your ground.

It’s easy to let life-stress shake our foundation of inner-strength as human beings, but if you want to inspire people around you, learn to stand your ground through thick and thin. Stand firm if you want to show the people around you that even the worst of circumstances can be overcome with positive thinking, continuous improvement, and a never-say-die attitude.

7. Admit your flaws.

Although it is important to not flinch when life throws us a curve-ball, it is equally important to acknowledge the fact that we are all human beings here, and thus are all inherently flawed. Everyone has at least one glaring weakness or two, so accept your short-comings to humanize yourself so people can relate to you on a deeper level. Show me a person who claims to be without fault and I’ll show you a dirty liar.

8. Be an active listener.

Anyone can hear the words other people say, but not many people can actively listen and comprehend those words to fully understand the meaning behind them. Make eye-contact if someone talks to you about their problems and ask follow-up questions to show them you care about what they are going through and want to understand where they are coming from as well as you can.

9. Reach for the stars.

No one will be inspired by a person who resigns themselves to “reality” (such a dreadful place that sounds devoid of hope or personal growth in my opinion). Be ambitious, aim high, and never surrender if you want to inspire people that they, too, can accomplish anything they set their mind to.

10. Deliver constructive criticism.

First of all, constructive criticism should only be delivered if it is asked for. Remember point #4: if it’s not positive, don’t say it. If you criticize someone for their flaws without any input requested, you’re just going to upset them. But if you are asked for input, deliver it in a positive manner. For the sake of example, let’s assume someone asked you for feedback about an article, blog, essay, or resume that they wrote. You might deliver your feedback like this:
“First, thank you for asking me for input: it means a lot that you trust me! I looked it over and let me just say that I love what you did with [insert positive compliment here]. But I think it might be even better if you did this instead [insert constructive criticism and feedback for improvement here].”
How Do You Inspire People Around You?
Have you had the pleasure of inspiring a person to take a positive step forward to a better life? Or has someone helped inspire you to overcome a significant struggle? If so, we’d love to hear all about it in the comments!

CARE FOR YOU "ISIS OR HUMANITY"

ISIS OR HUMANITY
This is for first time I am writing abide from the toipic of this site but as a human its my morale duty and right to aware others whats going wrong in our world ,Islamic State militants are using children — including the mentally challenged — as suicide bombers and human shields, according to officials from a UN watchdog that also reported the terror group is killing, torturing and raping Iraqi kids.
The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child released a report Wednesday in Geneva in which it said it has received reports of “several cases of mass executions of boys, as well as reports of beheadings, crucifixions of children and burying children alive.”
“We are really deeply concerned at torture and murder of those children, especially those belonging to minorities, but not only from minorities,” committee expert Renate Winter said, Reuters reported. “The scope of the problem is huge.”
The terror group has been using Iraqi boys younger than 18 in dangerous missions during US-led airstrikes, said the agency — adding that children have been killed or badly wounded during airstrikes or shelling by Iraqi security forces. Others have died of “dehydration, starvation and heat.”
ISIS has committed “systematic sexual violence,” including “the abduction and sexual enslavement of children,” the report said.
Victimized children included Yazidis, Shiites and Christian Muslims as well as Sunnis, Winter said.
Modal Trigger

“We have had reports of children, especially children who are mentally challenged, who have been used as suicide bombers, most probably without them even understanding,” she told Reuters.
“There was a video placed (online) that showed children at a very young age, approximately 8 years of age and younger, to be trained already to become child soldiers.”
“Children of minorities have been captured in many places … sold in the marketplace with tags, price tags on them, they have been sold as slaves,” Winter said.
Eighteen independent experts worked on the report by the UN agency, which reviewed Iraq’s record for the first time since 1998.
The agency called for Iraq to “take all necessary actions to ensure the safety and protection of children and their families.”
The experts acknowledged that the Iraqi government faces “tremendous challenges” in ISIS-controlled areas. But the committee said “some of the problems had existed before [ISIS] and were inherited.”

Care for you "Cervical Spondylosis"

alt

What is Cervical Spondylosis?

Cervical spondylosis is usually an age-related condition that affects the joints in your neck. It develops as a result of the wear and tear of the cartilage and bones are of the cervical spine. While it is largely due to age, it can be caused by other factors as well. Alternative names for it include cervical osteoarthritis and neck arthritis.
According to the Mayo Clinic, the condition is present in more than 90 percent of people over the age of 65, although some have it in such small degrees that they never experience symptoms. (Mayo Clinic)
For some, it can cause chronic pain, although many people who have it are still able to conduct normal, daily activities.

Cervical Spondylosis Causes and Risk Factors

Aging

Cervical spondylosis often develops as a result of changes in your neck joints as you age. Your spinal disks can become dry and begin shrinking around the time you turn 40, reducing the cushioning between the bones in your neck.
Your disks might also develop cracks as you get older. This causes them to bulge or become herniated. You might also develop bone spurs, or extra bony growths. Herniated disks and bone spurs can put extra pressure on your spinal cord and nerve roots, causing joint pain.
The ligaments in your spine, which are strands of tissue that connect your bones, might also become stiffer as you age. This makes it more difficult or painful for you to move your neck.

Other Factors

Cervical spondylosis can develop due to factors other than aging. These include:
  • neck injuries
  • work-related activities that put extra strain on your neck from heavy lifting,
  • holding your neck in an uncomfortable position for prolonged periods of time, or repeating the same neck movements throughout the day (repetitive stress)
  • genetic factors (family history of cervical spondylosis)
  • smoking
  • being overweight and inactive

Symptoms: When Should I Call My Doctor?

Most people with cervical spondylosis don’t have noticeable symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they can range from mild to severe and may develop gradually or occur suddenly.
One common symptom is pain around the shoulder blade. Patients will complain of pain along the arm and in the fingers. The pain might increase on standing sitting, sneezing, coughing, or backward tilting of the neck.
Another common symptom is muscle weakness. Muscle weakness makes it hard to lift the arms or hold objects firmly.
Other common signs include:
  • a stiff neck that becomes worse
  • headaches that mostly occur in the back of the head
  • tingling or numbness that mainly affects shoulders and arms, although it can also occur in the legs
Symptoms that occur less frequently often include a loss of balance and a loss of bladder or bowel control.
If you have the sudden onset o numbness or tingling in the shoulder, arms or legs or if you lose bowel or bladder control, talk to your doctor and seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Testing and Diagnosing Cervical Spondylosis

Physical Exam

Your doctor will start by asking you several questions regarding your symptoms. Then, he or she will run through a set of tests. Typical exams include testing your reflexes, checking for muscle weakness, and testing the range of motion of your neck. Your doctor might also want to watch how you walk. All of this helps your doctor determine if your nerves and spinal cord are under too much pressure.
If your doctor suspects cervical spondylosis, he or she will then order imaging tests and nerve function tests to confirm the diagnosis.

Imaging Tests

  • X-rays can be used to check for bone spurs and other abnormalities.
  • A computerized tomography scan (CT scan) can provide more detailed images of your neck.
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which produces images using radio waves and a magnetic field, helps locate pinched nerves.
  • A Mylo gram uses a dye injection to highlight certain areas of the spine; CT scans or X-rays are then used to provide more detailed images of these areas.

Nerve Function Tests

  • An electro myo gram (EMG) is used to check if your nerves are functioning normally when sending signals to your muscles; it measures your nerves’ electrical activity.
  • A nerve conduction study is used to check the speed and strength of the signals your nerves send; this is done by placing electrodes on your skin where the nerve is located.

Treatment Options for Cervical Spondylosis

Treatments for cervical spondylosis focus on providing pain relief, lowering the risk of permanent damage, and helping you lead a normal life. Non-surgical methods are usually very effective.

Physical Therapy

Your doctor might send you to a physical therapist for treatment. Physical therapy helps you stretch your neck and shoulder muscles and makes them stronger, which helps relieve pain. You might also have neck traction, which involves using weights to increase the space between the cervical joints and relieve the pressure on the cervical discs and nerve roots.

Medications

Your doctor might prescribe certain medications if over-the-counter drugs don’t work. These include:
  • muscle relaxants, such as cyclo benzaprine, to treat muscle spasms
  • narcotics, such as hydro codone, for pain relief
  • anti-seizure drugs, such as gaba pentin, to relieve pain caused by nerve damage
  • steroid injections, such as pred nisone, for pain relief

Surgery

If your condition is severe and doesn’t respond to other forms of treatment, you might need surgery. This can involve getting rid of bone spurs, parts of your neck bones, or herniated disks to give your spinal cord and nerves more room. Surgery is rarely necessary for cervical spondylosis.

Making Lifestyle Changes to Address Mild Pain

If your condition is mild, you can try a few things at home to treat it. You can take an over-the-counter pain reliever, such as acetaminophen or an anti-inflammatory drug like Naproxen. Using a heating pad or a cold pack on your neck can also provide pain relief for sore muscles. Getting regular exercise can help you recover faster. Wearing a soft neck brace or collar can give you temporary relief. You should not wear a neck brace or collar for long periods of time as it could make your muscles weaker.

CARE FOR YOUR "SAFETY ON ROAD"

CARE FOR YOUR "SAFETY ON ROAD"

What are the road safety rule

There are some common rules implemented by government to avoid accidents on roads. These rules may vary slightly from state to state but the main theme is similar for all the states in India. These rules commonly comprises 3 broad categories including Basic rules, traffic signal and road signals. The basic road rules are for all the people driving, cycling or walking on the road. Traffic signals are mainly positioned on busy roads to avoid accidents due to heavy traffic and they have big signal to stop, be ready and to go ahead. These traffic signals work for drivers as well as pedestrians and one should always follow these while walking or crossing the road. Lastly, there are many road signs to be followed to manage the traffic system effectively. These may include zebra crossing, speed breakers turn sign boards etc.

Why Road safety rules are important

The road safety rules are implemented for our safety hence are very important to be followed by all of us. We see many accidents on daily basis and cannot blame anybody after it as the loss cannot be recovered. Many times, due to the avoidance of one, the other person becomes the sufferer. In case of small kids, parents should make them understand the rules and support them while learning the safety on roads.

Things to be followed while driving to follow safety rules on road

Although there are so many rules for driving, here I have mentioned in a point wise manner for the convenience of readers. Please do not only read these rules but also follow them carefully to save the common human beings.
These are as follows:-

Consider others also while driving
While driving, if you observe any driver in hurry, do not be stubborn and yield his right of way. He may be in some emergency and cannot wait for side from others, so it is better to give him way to avoid any accident or loss. While the other driver might be being a torment in claiming you give way, it's better to let him through. You should not block the path of any motor/vehicle by moving in front of it. By doing this, you may increase the risk of accident.

Do not try to show off your skills while driving
You should not drive over a given speed limit as it is illegal and also dangerous for you as well as others. By crossing the speed limit may save your 20 minutes, but it also increases the chances of an accident. The fast speed of car takes more time for their breaks to work.
The fast speed also decreases the time you may require to react to the unexpected happenings, like unexpected crossing of any animal on road.
On another side, if you will be caught by the traffic police for crossing the speed limit, you will be fined for only first time (up to Rs 1,000) and for a more permanent punishment for repeat offenders.
So, you are always suggested to choose an average speed matching to the road traffic. If you want to overtake a car moving slower than your vehicle, do so from the right. Make your intentions clear using the indicators before overtaking.

Be attentive on the road
The most common excuse people usually give is "I did not see him". But actually a human of average size with his or her vehicle cannot be invisible. Many accidents happen just because of driver's avoidance or inattentive attitude for what is happening on the road.
The reason to be more attentive is, you cannot even trust of your fellow drivers that they are following the road safety rules honestly, so in that case also there are chances of accidents of yours. So, it is better to stay alert and keep good space between your vehicle and other nearby vehicles to avoid such dangerous situations.
You should be alert extra alert of traffic signals, turns, speed breakers or dividers.
       Avoid Mobile While driving
It is always suggested to avoid use of mobiles while driving and in fact, government has a policy to charge fine when any driver will be caught using mobile while driving. If you have urgent call, take a side and after getting proper space, you may stop your vehicle and attend the call.
Similarly, driving with loud music may divert your mind or may make you aware of whatever is going on the road, hence may cause accidents. So, it is always advisable to avoid loud musics on road and government of Maharashtra has launched a new rule for charging fine for this.

Never forget to wear seat beltsSeat belt is one of the most important safety devices in vehicle. Many times a seat belt may look very insignificant, but it can save your life. It protects you from unexpected force and sudden movement on collision and absence of seat belt may cause very severe injuries to you or in worst case the driver may fling out of the car in absence of seat belts.

Avoid driving when you are not well or stressed
In unhealthy situation or when you are distracted or stresses, please do not drive. Such situations decrease your judgment power while driving and a wrong or delayed judgment on road will cause an accident. If you very much stressed or overworked and feeling tired, there are chances of falling asleep on steering. If it is your requirement to drive even in situations, consider to take small breaks for power naps.

    Never drink and drive
It is a famous slogan and every one knows it. But still there are some people who drink and drive assuming that they are minor drinkers and such small amount will not affect their driving. It is always risky to drive when you are drunk. Driving when you are drunk is a punishable offence and this may cancel your licence or even jail time. If you are going to a party where you have plans to consume alcohol, make sure someone who does not drink is the designated driver or better arrange a taxi
      Don't rush on wet Roads
It is always advisable to slow down the vehicle during bad weather like heavy rain fall, fog and even wet roads. High speed in heavy rain may lead your car to rise up on a thin film of water between the tires and road so that there is no more contact with the road.

    Conclusion

Safe driving is the best driving and it is always good to reach home safely than faster. So, try to follow all the rules and safety guidelines for yourself as well as your family.

    CARE FOR YOUR "ANGER"

    CARE FOR YOU "ANGER"

    Anger Management

Tips and Techniques for Getting Anger Under Control

Anger Management Do you have a short fuse or find yourself getting into frequent arguments and fights? Anger is a normal, healthy emotion, but when chronic, explosive anger spirals out of control, it can have serious consequences for your relationships, your health, and your state of mind.
With insight about the real reasons for your anger and these anger management tools, you can learn to keep your temper from hijacking your life.

    Understanding anger

The emotion of anger is neither good nor bad. It’s perfectly healthy and normal to feel angry when you’ve been mistreated or wronged. The feeling isn't the problem—it's what you do with it that makes a difference. Anger becomes a problem when it harms you or others.
If you have a hot temper, you may feel like it’s out of your hands and there’s little you can do to tame the beast. But you have more control over your anger than you think. You can learn to express your emotions without hurting others—and when you do, you’ll not only feel better, you’ll also be more likely to get your needs met. Mastering the art of anger management takes work, but the more you practice, the easier it will get. And the payoff can be huge. Learning to control your anger and express it appropriately can help you build better relationships, achieve your goals, and lead a healthier, more satisfying life.

    Myths and Facts about Anger

Myth: I shouldn’t “hold in” my anger. It’s healthy to vent and let it out.
Fact: While it’s true that suppressing and ignoring anger is unhealthy, venting is no better. Anger is not something you have to “let out” in an aggressive way in order to avoid blowing up. In fact, outbursts and tirades only fuel the fire and reinforce your anger problem.
Myth: Anger, aggression, and intimidation help me earn respect and get what I want.
Fact: True power doesn’t come from bullying others. People may be afraid of you, but they won’t respect you if you can’t control yourself or handle opposing viewpoints. Others will be more willing to listen to you and accommodate your needs if you communicate in a respectful way.
Myth: I can’t help myself. Anger isn’t something you can control.
Fact: You can’t always control the situation you’re in or how it makes you feel, but you can control how you express your anger. And you can express your anger without being verbally or physically abusive. Even if someone is pushing your buttons, you always have a choice about how to respond.
Myth: Anger management is about learning to suppress your anger.
Fact: Never getting angry is not a good goal. Anger is normal, and it will come out regardless of how hard you try to suppress it. Anger management is all about becoming aware of your underlying feelings and needs and developing healthier ways to manage upset. Rather than trying to suppress your anger, the goal is to express it in constructive ways.

    Why anger management is important

You might think that venting your anger is healthy, that the people around you are too sensitive, that your anger is justified, or that you need to show your fury to get respect. But the truth is that anger is much more likely to damage your relationships, impair your judgment, get in the way of success, and have a negative impact on the way people see you.
    • Out-of-control anger hurts your physical health. Constantly operating at high levels of stress and tension is bad for your health. Chronic anger makes you more susceptible to heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, a weakened immune system, insomnia, and high blood pressure.
    • Out-of-control anger hurts your mental health. Chronic anger consumes huge amounts of mental energy and clouds your thinking, making it harder to concentrate, see the bigger picture, and enjoy life. It can also lead to stress, depression, and other mental health problems.
    • Out-of-control anger hurts your career. Constructive criticism, creative differences, and heated debate can be healthy. But lashing out only alienates your colleagues, supervisors, or clients and erodes their respect. What’s more, a bad reputation can follow you wherever you go, making it harder and harder to get ahead.
    • Out-of-control anger hurts your relationships with others. It causes lasting scars in the people you love most and gets in the way of your friendships and work relationships. Chronic, intense anger makes it hard for others to trust you, speak honestly, or feel comfortable—they never know what is going to set you off or what you will do. Explosive anger is especially damaging to children.

    CARE FOR YOU "EBOLA"

    Ebola virus disease

Ebola virus disease is a serious illness that originated in Africa, where there is currently an outbreak. But for people living in countries outside Africa, it continues to be a very low threat.
The current outbreak of the Ebola virus mainly affects three countries in West Africa: Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Around 26,724 cases and more than 11,000 deaths have been reported by the World Health Organization. This is the largest known outbreak of Ebola.
Experts studying the virus believe it is highly unlikely the disease would spread within the UK.

What are the symptoms, and what should I do if I think I'm infected?

A person infected with Ebola virus will typically develop a fever, headache, joint and muscle pain, a sore throat, and intense muscle weakness.
These symptoms start suddenly, between two and 21 days after becoming infected.
If you feel unwell with the above symptoms within 21 days of coming back from Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone, you should stay at home and immediately telephone 111 or 999 and explain that you have recently visited West Africa.
These services will provide advice and arrange for you to be seen in a hospital if necessary so the cause of your illness can be determined.
It's really important that medical services are expecting your arrival and calling 111 or 999 will ensure this happens.

How does Ebola spread among people?

People can become infected with the Ebola virus if they come into contact with the blood, body fluids or organs of an infected person.
Most people are infected by giving care to other infected people, either by directly touching the victim's body or by cleaning up body fluids (stools, urine or vomit) that carry infectious blood.

Who is at risk, and how can we prevent its spread?

Anyone who cares for an infected person or handles their blood or fluid samples is at risk of becoming infected. Hospital workers, laboratory workers and family members are at greatest risk.
Strict infection control procedures and wearing protective clothing minimises this risk – see preventing the spread of Ebola virus for more information. Simply washing hands with soap and water can destroy the virus.

How is Ebola virus disease treated?

There's currently no licensed treatment or vaccine for Ebola virus disease, although potential new vaccines and drug therapies are being developed and tested.
Patients diagnosed with Ebola virus disease are placed in isolation in intensive care, where their blood oxygen levels and blood pressure are maintained at the right level and their body organs supported.
Healthcare workers need to avoid contact with the bodily fluids of their infected patients by taking strict precautions.
ZMapp is an experimental treatment that can be tried, although it has not yet been tested in humans for safety or effectiveness. The product is a combination of three different antibodies that bind to the protein of the Ebola virus.

    How is it diagnosed?

It's difficult to know if a patient is infected with Ebola virus in the early stages as symptoms such as fever, headache and muscle pain are similar to those of many other diseases.
But specialist infection clinicians will make expert judgements on what the most likely diagnosis is, based on the patient’s history.

    CARE FOR YOUR "GUMS" (KIDS)

    gum disease in children

    Gum Disease in Children

Gum disease is also known as periodontal disease, and is an infection of the gums surrounding your teeth. Gum disease is one of the top reasons for tooth loss in adults, and because it is virtually pain free, many patients do not know they have the disease. During each regular checkup, your dentist will check for signs of periodontal disease by measuring the space between your teeth and gums.

    What Causes Gum Disease?

Gum disease is caused by a buildup of plaque (a sticky form of bacteria that forms on the teeth). If the plaque is not removed (by flossing, brushing, and regular dental checkups), it will continue to build up and create toxins that can damage the gums. Periodontal disease forms just below the gum line and creates small pockets that separate the gums from the teeth. Periodontal disease has two stages: gingivitis and periodontitis.
    • Gingivitis — This is the early stage of gum disease, when the gums become red and swollen, and bleed easily. At this stage, the disease is treatable and can usually be eliminated by daily brushing and flossing.
    • Periodontitis — If left untreated, gingivitis will advance into periodontitis, and the gums and bone that support the teeth will become seriously and irreversibly damaged. Gums infected with periodontitis can cause teeth to become loose, fall out, or be removed by a dentist.

Certain factors can increase a patient's risk of developing periodontal disease, including:

    • Smoking or using chewing tobacco
    • Diabetes
    • Certain types of medication such as steroids, anti-epilepsy drugs, cancer therapy drugs, calcium channel blockers, and oral contraceptives
    • Bridges that no longer fit properly
    • Crooked teeth
    • Old fillings
    • Pregnancy

While it is possible to have periodontal disease and not know it, some symptoms can include:

    • Gums that bleed easily
    • Red, swollen, tender gums
    • Gums that have pulled away from the teeth
    • Persistent bad breath or bad taste
    • Pus between your teeth and gums
    • Permanent teeth that are loose or separating
    • Any change in the way your teeth fit together when you bite
    • Any change in the fit of partial dentures

    Treating Gum Disease

Treatments for gum disease can vary depending on the severity of each individual case. Typical treatments include:
    • Non-surgical treatments such as at-home periodontal trays, and scaling and root planing (deep cleaning)
    • Periodontal surgery and laser gum surgery
    • Dental implants

    Preventing Gum Disease

Regular dental checkups and periodontal examinations are important for maintaining your health and the health of your smile. You don't have to lose teeth to periodontal disease, and by practicing good oral hygiene at home, you can significantly reduce your chances of ever getting gum disease. Remember to brush regularly, clean between your teeth, eat a balanced diet, and schedule regular dental visits to help keep your smile health
